Norway Escape Route

The escape route took the 6 Canadians from the crash site, to a cave in Bjornen, and then down to the seaside at Bjornatrynet, and from their by boat to Selvagen on the island of Strono, From Strong they went to Hattwick, then to Lonningdal and on to Little Canada. The way back required a trip by boat from Lonningdal to Ospoy, then out to a small, unnamed island to wait for the Shetland Express.
According to the records of the Shetland Express, the Vigra left the Shetland Islands on October 11, and travelled to Follesvaag in Austevoll, where it waited while Sverre Ostervoll went to fetch the crew in his fishing boat.
